Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words, times that by 700 or so and I’m not sure that I'll have enough space to write our entire review! We booked Amethyst photography after speaking to them at a wedding fayre. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary by renewing our vows. I can honestly say I was over the moon with every detail of our booking from beginning to end. On the day they were very patient, especially with the little ones. And the photographs I received at the end were perfect. Im such a happy customer I will 100% book with them again if ever the need arrises.

We had Amethyst Photography for our wedding in June and Julie was brilliant. Very friendly. Came up with some lovely photo ideas. The finished package was great. I would certainly recommend them for any function.

We chose amethyst photography to do our wedding photographs in Nissi Beach in Cyprus last September and I must say that Wayne and Julie are very professional and they go that extra mile to make your special day very very special nothing is to much trouble for them. The quality of our photos where superb and everything we asked for was done without any hesitation.

Wayne and Julie are exceptional photographers and just what you need on your wedding day. They are a fantastic husband and wife team and make you feel totally at ease. There is no feeling of intrusion and they capture every precious moment of your day. Our photos where to an fantastic quality and value for money. We have had so many perfect photos we have found it seriously hard to choose our album photos. They came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. Wayne and Julie provided a truely professional service throughout our wedding day from bridal prep up to the wedding breakfast. Not only were they professional but they were also very friendly with all our guests meaning they got some amazing photographs of our special day which we can cherish forever. Had many comments afterwards about how good the photographers were and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I used Amethyst Photography for my wedding and can say without doubt they are the best I would highly recommend these they are kind and easy to get on with and they made my day better than I had imagined. We had professional family photos taken by Wayne and Julie at their studio and were so impressed with the quality and service that we booked them for our forthcoming wedding (at extra cost to ourselves since our venue already provides a photographer in the package we paid for). They offer such a personal, friendly and professional service and I have no hesitation in recommending them. It's not many people who can make our shy 3-year-old talk to them, never mind smile for the camera, but Wayne won her over straight away, with great results. Amethyst are also responsive - Wayne responds to any emails within a short period of time and is friendly and helpful. We've discussed various arrangements for the upcoming wedding photos and I'm very happy that it's in safe hands.

I attended the beginner digital SLR photography course. I'm a newcomer to DSLR, I had only just got my camera that weekend. You can only learn so much from reading the manual and photography books which I had been doing. I was too affraid to change my camera from any of the auto settings as I just couldn't understand them all. This course was perfect at introducing me to how to take full control of all the camera settings and get the most out of your camera. The course starts with the very basics so even if you know nothing about photography you won't get lost. I got a discounted price for being in a large group but I still felt as though I was getting 1 to 1 tution. Wayne was very good at helping each person find particular settings on their cameras and spoke to everyone personally to make sure they understood.

A nice, informal photography course, ideal for beginners and people wanting to find out more about their SLR cameras. I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived, but the session was for a small group of like-minded people so everyone received a lot of attention and was able to ask as many questions as they wanted to. The leader of the course was down to earth and approachable, and I came away from the course having learned lots of new techniques and ready to try them out for myself. Very good value and an enjoyable day.

I have worked with amethyst photography a couple of times now and have never been dissapointed. They provide really proffesional service and know how to capture the best photo. They are welcoming and friendly, id definately reccomend them.

I used Amethyst Photographers for a one day photography course. Obviously I knew how to take pictures with my camera but didn't really know how to get the best out of my camera and what all the buttons and functions were! The course was a fantastic introduction into beginners photography and after 1 day had a better understanding of how to use my camera. Wayne, the company owner was great in his tuition and practical sessions. A brilliant day, well worth it.

My daughter had a model portfolio done for her 17th birthday with wayne and julie and what a fantastic time she had,wayne and julie made us both feel so welcome and at ease but most of all my daughter felt at ease and relaxed with them. They are so friendly and extremely proffesional at all times. I carnt wait to see the photos xxxxx.

The training that is offered by Amethyst is second to none. It was such good fun and the results were amazing. I am now enjoy using my camera on manual and have a greater understanding of digital photography along with the editing side of things as well. The courses are great value for money very enjoyable too.

We wanted to pick someone local for our wedding photos and Amethyst was the first and only photographer we spoke to, they sold there services to us and we were more than to use them. They came to see us to plan our big day and sugessted sites for photos. On the day even though Wayne was recoving from a bad back he made everyone feel at ease especially the children at the wedding. The only issue we had with them is that the photos (250 +)were such of a high standard we wanted all of them in our wedding book lol. We have recommended them to all out friends and my sister in law has already booked them for there wedding next October. Thanks again Wayne and Julie.
